Frank Paredes is a registered Architect in the State of Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, and NCARB board certified as well as a LEED Accredited Professional.
Mr. Paredes is known for his drive for design excellence and diverse background in both architecture and interior design. Mr. Paredes leads by example from his experiences collected from some of the most prestigious firms, such as Bermello, Ajamil and Partners, Skidmore, Owings + Merrill, Morris Borges Architects, Tessy Garcia and Associates, Borges + Associates, and Fullerton Diaz Architects, Inc..
Currently Mr. Paredes is the President + CEO at Miami-based firm, Paredes Architects, Inc., where his responsibilities include everything from business development to lead designer through construction administration. His duties cover the architectural spectrum, ranging from design inception to delivery on opening day.
Mr. Paredes began his career at the University of Miami where he received his Bachelor’s of Architecture with a business minor from the University of Miami. He went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania where he received his Masters of Architecture degree with a focus on Emerging Technology.
His designs have made an impact both locally and nationally. His extensive experience includes the design of high-rise mix-use buildings, commercial office towers, luxury estates, and luxury hotels. Some of his more notable projects include Random House, Charles Schwab, Nautica on the River, Grand Bohemian Hotel + Residences, Urbana, Wagner Square and ONE.
His work has not gone unnoticed by his peers. Alpha Roe Chi, a national professional fraternity, has honored him with a medial for leadership. In 2006 the AIA recognized one of his designs, Nautica on the River, with a design honor award in the un-built category.
Mr. Paredes has also been an active member of Miami’s AIA Chapter since 2006.
